Such an amazing stay!! Loved the area and the amount of effort put in by the hosts is amazing! The super sweet dogs and loving kitty that roam around are a great added bonus too!

A lot of thought and effort went into Danny and Karl’s treehouse. Although there was no shortage of rain during our stay, the treehouse was extremely cozy and the shower remained warm and refreshing even though it is outside. Karl was kind enough to help us with our stuff, and provide some local knowledge that is well worth taking him up on! The scenic drive to Trinidad and the food at Larrupin fit in nicely with our schedule. This was only a short stay for us as this was a 2 night stop on our road trip, but we are already excited to plan our return so we can explore Trinidad, Eureka, and the redwoods in greater depth and in unique comfort.

The treehouse is unique, and the flow of the property is great for a relaxing time. The covered patio was outstanding with an infrared heater to keep you warm while listening to the rain. The treehouse itself is perfect for two light travelers. The loft is perfect for watching a movie or watching the rain hit the skylights. The highlight is definitely the outdoor shower. Even in December, the hot water was plentiful and refreshing in the cool Sequoia air. very fun and romantic place to stay.

Beautiful bucolic setting, amazing outdoor shower among towering trees and qwirky quaint cabin. We certainly will return! Danny and Karl were great hosts.

What can I say, this space was absolutely amazing! Just as advertised, we were greeted by Guinness & Otis as we drove up the driveway. The outdoor space was beautiful, and the indoor space was cozy and comfortable. We stayed in mid-January, and while I was a little concerned about the rain and cold, there were plenty of blankets and heaters. Danny's recommendations for food and exploration were spot on! We explored the seaside of Trinidad the first evening (5-10m drive), and completed several hikes within the Redwoods (45-60m) the following day. Danny and Karl were so great as to make our stay extra special by setting a romantic decor once we arrived home from dinner to set the stage for my proposal (she said yes!) - Danny & Karl's treehouse oasis now has a very special place in both Madelin & my hearts. I would love to stay here again, and we're so glad we got the opportunity to!

This was our third and last stay of our honeymoon and what a perfect place it was. We were greeted by the host and pets where we learned more about the property and the space. We also got great recommendations on what to do in the area. The treehouse was amazing, we loved the house itself especially watching the rain at night from bed, the patio was cozy, and of course the outdoor shower which was a fun experience and warmer than expected! Can’t recommend this house enough!

Really beautiful, peaceful stay. This was a lovely place to stay while visiting the redwood national forest, a compact private space that allows you to be close to nature while resting. The tree house was thoughtfully designed and the outdoor shower creates an unforgettable experience of showering among the redwoods. Would go again!

Highly recommend! We loved the experience of staying in this cozy treehouse. It was indeed small but has everything you need for 2 people plus the house is immaculate- clean/new everything! Hosts are great and there were thoughtful touches like coffee, snacks, and s'mores kits. The outdoor shower and seating area were incredible!
