Cancellation and Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Luqsury as your trusted vacation rental company. We strive to provide exceptional service and unforgettable experiences for our guests. We understand that plans may change, and sometimes cancellations are unavoidable. This “Cancellation and Refund” policy is designed to clarify the terms and conditions related to cancellations, refunds, and reservation modifications. Please carefully read the following information:

Cancellation Policy:
1.1. Booking cancellations must be requested in writing or through our official communication channels, such as email or the Luqsury website.
1.2. Cancellation requests made 24 hours before check-in will be eligible for a full refund of any amounts paid.
1.3. Cancellation requests made after 24 hours before check-in will be eligible for a partial refund of any amounts paid.

1.4. Luqsury reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, such as property unavailability or maintenance issues. In such cases, a full refund will be provided to the guest.

1.5. All reservations must be made at least 24 hours from check-in to allow ample time for payment confirmation and current property status. Reservations made less than 24 hours to check-in will be automatically cancelled.

Refund Process:
2.1. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the same method as the original payment. Luqsury will not be responsible for any differences in refund amounts due to exchange rate fluctuations or fees imposed by financial institutions.
2.2. Refunds will be issued within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 to 60 business days from the date the cancellation request is approved.

Reservation Modifications:
3.1. Changes to a confirmed booking, such as a change in dates or property, are subject to availability and Luqsury’s approval.
3.2. Any modifications to a booking may be subject to additional charges or fees based on the new booking details and current rates.
3.3. In the event of a request to modify a booking, guests should contact Luqsury as soon as possible to discuss the options available.

Force Majeure:
4.1. Luqsury shall not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this policy if such failure is the result of unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, governmental actions, or any other event that makes it impractical or impossible to fulfill the reservation.

Travel Insurance:
5.1. Luqsury strongly recommends guests obtain travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events and mitigate financial loss in case of cancellations or disruptions.

Non-Refundable Fees:
6.1. Certain fees, such as cleaning fees, may be non-refundable regardless of the cancellation timing. These fees will be clearly communicated during the booking process.

Refundable Fees:
Refundable Security Deposit/Caution Fee Policy:

The refundable security deposit/caution fee is required to be paid by the guest upon booking confirmation.
The amount of the refundable security deposit/caution fee is set at 20% of the total booking amount.
The deposit serves as a precautionary measure to cover any potential damages, losses, or additional expenses incurred during the guest’s stay.
The refundable security deposit/caution fee will be returned to the guest in full, provided there are no damages or excessive cleaning required after their stay.
A thorough inspection of the property will be conducted upon the guest’s departure to assess any damages or losses. If any such issues are identified, the cost of repairs, replacements, or necessary cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit.
The refund process for the security deposit will typically take 7-14 business days from the guest’s check-out date.
In case the total costs of damages or additional expenses exceed the amount of the security deposit, the guest will be responsible for covering the remaining balance.
The guest is responsible for reporting any damages or issues encountered upon check-in to avoid misunderstandings and ensure a prompt resolution.
The security deposit will be refunded using the same payment method used for the initial booking, unless otherwise agreed upon.
The refundable security deposit is non-transferable and can only be applied to the specific booking for which it was paid.
